Starring Gomu Gator — a chubby, chibi-style alligator taking the internet by storm — the project is backed by international IP rights and powered by the Solana blockchain. Bringing Gomu Gator to Life — From Sketch to Meme Icon
As the illustrator and animator behind Gomugator, KSA (Kilisuci Artlabs) played a key creative role in shaping the visual identity of the project. We were responsible for bringing Gomu Gator — the chubby, chibi-style alligator mascot — to life through a mix of expressive character designs and dynamic animations.
Our contributions included:
Character concept development: From rough sketches to the finalized look of Gomu Gator, we helped define the visual tone — playful, adorable, yet instantly iconic.
Digital asset production: We illustrated multiple variations of the character used across web, NFTs, social media, and community content.
Animation loops and motion assets: We created short, repeatable animations optimized for web and mobile, including idle loops, meme reactions, and launch teasers.
Style guide support: We helped build visual consistency across the Gomugator brand, ensuring all assets aligned with the intended vibe — “cute meets crypto.”
With Gomugator operating on the Solana blockchain and backed by global IP rights, our visual work had to be both highly shareable and technically optimized, making this one of our most exciting and crossover-rich projects to date.
